Pocket Moni is operated by Showdown Lab. This policy covers the Pocket Moni app and web app: what we collect, who processes it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
Your account (email, name, and how you sign in — password, Google, or Apple, via Clerk — plus a phone number and profile picture if your Showdown Lab account has them), your conversations (messages, photos, documents, and voice notes you send, and the text of voice commands), the facts Pocket Moni remembers about you (visible and deletable in the web app), the ratings you give replies, your credit balance and purchase history, and your device push token if you allow notifications.
Why
To run the chat: answering you, remembering what you asked us to remember, charging the right number of credits, and delivering notifications. We don't show ads and we don't sell your data.
Who processes it
Clerk (sign-in), OpenRouter (routes your messages to the AI models that answer, from providers such as Google and Anthropic — your message content is sent to generate the reply), Apple (speech recognition for voice commands on iPhone), Stripe (payments and invoices), Firebase (push notifications, which can include the start of a reply), Railway (hosting and database), and S3-compatible object storage (your media files, served through signed short-lived links).
AI processing
Messages and attachments you send are processed by third-party AI models to produce answers, and to pick out facts worth remembering. The app asks for your explicit consent before the first message; declining keeps chat off but your account accessible. Voice messages are transcribed the same way. Voice commands on iPhone use Apple's speech recognition, which may send the audio to Apple; the resulting text is then processed by an AI model.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays until you delete your account. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period — sign back in to cancel — after which your profile, conversations, memories, files, ratings, and credit balance are erased from our systems. We keep invoice records, including the email address they were issued to, as required by accounting law, and records of moderation reports and administrative actions for safety and security. Stripe also keeps its own payment records. Pocket Moni deletion does not delete your shared Showdown Lab sign-in, which may be used by other Showdown Lab products.
Credits
Credits never expire while your account exists. If you delete your account, any remaining credits are forfeited without refund; your statutory rights are unaffected.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or erase your personal data, and object to processing. You can forget remembered facts in the web app and delete your account in either app; for anything else, write to us.
